Company Bosses & Impressions

A company's CEO or Chairman says a lot about the organization he or she works for. They are the face. The mood. The exemplary role model all other employees should aspire to imitate and please. They are living embodiment of the products and services they sell.

Let's look at the automotive industry.

Lamborghini CEO - Stephan Winkelmann

Look at him work that suit... You'd think he was a hired model at company events.

Ferrari Chairman - Luca De Montezemolo

He's got swagger, alright... He can say anything he wants and he'll get away with it. Just because he's Mr. De Montezemolo.

Porsche CEO - Matthias Müller

Probably a very smart guy with good management capabilities...but kinda...boring? Uninteresting?

Proton CEO - Syed Zainal Abidin

I'm sorry. I couldn't help myself. I know there are better pictures out there but I had to put this one in.

How about the MLM industry? Much of a direct sales company's success is image.

Amway Chairman and President - Steve Van Andel and Doug DeVos

(Sons of the founders) They look like nice guys. Nonthreatening. Good for a global household (housewife) business.

Avon Chairman and CEO - Andrea Jung

"The company for women" goes their tagline. Glamorous, confident, successful.

Herbalife Chairman and CEO - Michael O. Johnson

This guy runs triathlons. 'Nuff said.

(Bonus) And here's one of the company's VPs. Dr. Luigi Ignarro.
